Reiner switches the gun from his right to his left hand, the barrel still pointed down between their feet. "Always treat a gun like it is loaded, even when you know it is not. Don't aim it at anything until you are ready to shoot. And never aim it at something you aren't willing to kill. Because you will kill. There's no real non-lethal shots with a gun. Just shots where people got lucky."
